World Cup 2018. Fans
In November 2018, I published SVOY magazine’s third issue, a story of 2018 World Cup that was hosted by Russia.
It is built on four interlacing narratives: the football itself, fans’ monologues, stadiums’ facades shot as texture.
We publish the fourth part here. It shows ‘epic’ photos of fans’ stands with people from all over the world reacting to games’ crucial moments.
For me, this is the essence of the World Cup. Putting these shots in print and giving readers an ability to see every face showing the same emotion at the same moment — nevermind the race, nationality, gender or age — is an extremely important message for me.
