Faces of Moscow

This project was shot for and published exclusively in SVOY #5, a Moscow issue of a magazine I created a few years ago.

Each of 4 and a half parts of that issue show one particular kind of interaction between Moscow’s parts that combined create a specific spirit or sense of this city.

This one is about the city itself becoming photographer’s assistant, picking some faces from the crowd and lighting them up as if we were working in the studio. All this pictures were created without any interactions with persons on them. They were initially shot & published in color and the black and white version was create specifically for this publication.
